Default Seat Belt Buzzer

Does anyone know where the sensor for the seat belt is? Oh yeah, and how do you take it out?

From Joe Peters and well stated. Sounds harsh but just makes sense:
"Let’s play a game.

You pretend that you are the only one that knows what year/engine, etc that you are asking about.

We will all pretend you never asked a question until you provide at least the bare minimum of information about your vehicle".

the sensor is probably in the latch, but the buzzer is most likely the same as the key in/ door open buzzer under the dash

the exact placement and look will vary by year, but get the buzzer on and feel for one that is vibrating

Not if you value your life and WEAR the damn thing! Ask any EMT, firefighter, or first responder how they feel about windshield starring. Also, in the event of an accident, even if the passenger has their belt on, you can still crush them while flying around inside the cab.

Don't be a dumbass and WEAR IT!

idk when the cutoff year was but my 95 has it, it does it when the key is in the ignition or when the lights are on and when you start it without your seat belt on, it is pretty annoying, but i can handle it. and it goes off after like 5 seconds so i dont care

Mine's the same. I like it cause it let's you know you left your lights on. I feel retarded to say that I've lost a battery that way once, but I'm sure I'm not the only one that's done it

Sorry it took so long to reply, my jeep is a 96 XJ Sport, and the seatblet buzzer is annoying. I do still wear my seatbelt just to relieve the minds of the safety enthusiasts who responded, I do appreciate the concern though. I wanna take it out if anyone can help.

First of all, I always wear my seatbelt, but the buzzer annoyed the **** out of me!! There is a combination relay/buzzer speaker on the fuse panel located down by the pedals. It's hard to miss, pull that **** and forget it! But keep wearing your belt.
