Sealed radiator Swap To Newer Style

Default Sealed radiator Swap To Newer Style

i was wondering if i could just swap the sealed radiator and coolant tank in my '87 xj to the newer style with a rad. cap and over flow tank.

sorry to get off track but how doi you like your RC lift?

Yes it can be done. I was informed by another member at some point that you can pretty much do a direct swap, just have to find an overflow bottle that will work. I will try to post the link to when I asked.

I did mine,all it requires is a radiator from 91 and later and the heater control valve for the same,and an overflow bottle that will fit where your exsploder bottle is now,just remove the holder and place it there,and run the overflow line from the radiator to bottle. I convereted mine for less than $50 with items from the jy.

you mean the 4.5 lift they have for $655 with new leafs? tell me how that works out ive been lookin into it

no i bought some springs and leafs from someone else. im not too sure on the brand of them though.
