I used to have a wagoneer untl it got totaled but it ran so good i saved everything that makes it go. Turns out it was a great doner for the 91 cherokee I bought.everything swapped over pretty easy (with a big hammer and a hot torch) but the heaveir engine and trany has the front end saging pretty bad.I was wondering if anyone else had ever had the problem with the weight in the front and might know a cheap easy to fix it.

You could get a set of coil springs out of a V8 grand cherokee. They are the same length as the regular cherokee coils but a stiffer spring. People usualy get about 1.5" of lift out of them on a stock xj but if you got extra weight out front it may just make yours sit level. What motor did you put in it? You don't hear too much about motor swaps on xjs just strokers. Good Luck!

Maybe look for 3" lift coils for a V8 Grand Cherokee. I can't guarantee this but I don't see why it won't work. Hows the jeep run with that big of a motor in it? Are you running the stock tranny?

I havent run it yet I still have to figure out where to put the radiator, thinking about puting it in the back. the 31 inch tires rub when I turn the wheals thats why I need the lift. Unfortunatly no matter how ready I am to finish my wallet is holding out,If I can find springs like you are talking about at a junkyard I will be half way there.Thanksfor the idea.
