Default Sagging rear leafs and can't find the correct size to go with lift.

My rear leafs needs replaced pretty bad. They sag a lot and even making turns the rear tires rub. I have a 3" Trail Master lift with the add-a-leaf and that was a mistake from the beginning. So I'm trying to find some decent springs in a 3" lift so I can keep it level.

So far the majority of the ones I've found are 3.5". The 3" packs I've found are more expensive than the 3.5" packs. So would that half an inch be that noticeable? I'd like to keep it as level as possible. I know they will settle in when I drive it but how much?

If I go that route I'll more than likely go with Rusty's since they're the cheapest and they have a good rep. RC and Zone are the only 2 so far that have a listing for 3" but they're kinda pricey and RC is a little on the shady side. What would you guys do?

I know zone isn't the cheapest but I have their 4.5 lift which uses their 3in springs and man are they good. Under load they are smooooth. Slightly bouncy when empty for now but they will break in I'm sure. Only had em for 6 months.

They ones they have listed on their site are 3.5" and I called and asked and they said they only have them in a 3.5" now. I would like to get the ones from Rusty's but I'm just curious as to if that extra half inch is gonna make it look like a hot rod with the rear end sticking up.

I just did a cut and fold on the fenders today so it doesn't look as saggy and looks just a little bit lower than level on the rear.

You used a smaller spring pack than your lift? the rear didn't sit lower than the front after that?

They include extended shakles which are required to get full flex over about 3 inches.

Yeah sorry I didn't mention that. Yeah they include a 1in shackle. Now the reason for this is that the rear wheel well is actually about a 1/2in lower than the front so a 4in lift in the rear actually makes it level with a 4.5 in front.

Oddly enough I'm sitting at 5in. lift in the rear right now because the shackles are at about 90°.

IMHO the extra 1/2" would not be that noticeable most of all in the rear where it should be higher than the front.

I didn't know that Rustys had did away with the 3" leafs, guess so many others have that height now they went to it also. Thanks for posting that.

I'll probably get the packs from Rusty's then.

I ended up getting some 3 1/2" Pro Comp leafs. Now I'm a believer in the kit wasn't 3" to begin with. The rear looks like it should now. The fender sits 8" from the tire on the rear and 6 1/2" on the front. I never got measurements before fact though. It doesn't look bad really so I'll ride it for a while and let the springs settle in and decide if I want to level it or not.
