Default Safety of factory wheel studs with aftermarket wheels??

After installing a 3.5" Zone Offroad lift kit and putting a set of these rims on
http://www.4wheelparts.com/Wheels/Se...pn=PCW51-5865F

I noticed that my wheel studs only protude above the wheel surface by about 1/2". With the stock rims, they'd protrude out quite a bit more. Is it safe to run my factory wheel studs with these aftermarket rims??? Dunno if it makes a difference, but i'm running the factory acorn style lugnuts as well. Backspacing o these wheels should be about 3.75"

The factory aluminum wheels only show about that much stud, maybe a little less. Same type lug nuts.
