running lights stay on
Put a new battery in yesterday morning in my 98 xj as the old one was completely dead.I just noticed today that my running lights stay on. I suppose it's a good assumption that the switch is bad, but I was wondering if there may be some other issue someone here has ran across.

x2 on the switch, let us know. Other thing comes to mind I had the same problem last week on my zj, which does use a totally different headlight switch btw, but the problem was water on the fuseblock in the passenger footwell had toasted the whole fuse block. Junkyard for that and all is well.

Many thanks.I will check along both of those lines. I did have about 14 inches of snow. Of course the lights are not on this morning.
