Rough idle cold start

So I have been having this problem for a month now where in the morning i idles rough for about 15 to 20 seconds and then smooths right out. My check valve is bad and has been for 40 k miles. Do you guys think that would be the cause of my idle problems at startup. Does it if I crank it twice or cycle the key 3 times, makes no difference

I would try cleaning the throttle body and the IAC.
