after im done wheeling it i shut it off and start it back up it runs rough unless i rev it up to about 3 grand then its cleared up until I shut it off again.. this only happens when i'm kinda beating on it. no check engine light. its a 2000 cherokee sport. thanks in advance -Butch-

Sounds like heat soak. I had it this past weekend, this is how I fixed it.

Buy some of this stuff at an autoparts store.

Wrap your injectors like this.

Worked for me.

An extra step would be to install a heat shield b/w the intake manifold and exhause manifold shown here.

so the gas is evaporating?? lol what about hood vents?? haha im just throwing ideas around.

Hood vents may help too. Personally I prefer not to cut into the hood. Some people add washers and longer bolts to the hood bracket to raise it up. I have thought about doing that, but haven't made up my mind. My temps are 200-215 all the time, so not worried atm.

why does it got so hot under the hood on these! lol and thanks for the pics by the way. and my hood is peeling paint anyway so idc. but cant find real hood louvers??? :mad:
