Rough Country Long Arm 6.5" lift.... I need your all knowing knowledge
About to pick up bone stock 95 4x4 (of course) Cherokee.
I have been looking at this lift... + -'s??? I want to flex out pretty well and all that other stuff. Is there a better lift for close to the $1200 price?

Good luck! Let me know if they ever ship it out. Mine has been on back order for 2 weeks and not a word from them on when it's going to REALLY ship. I was told it was shipping last Friday but still no tracking number. I have read about people waiting over 2 months to get the long arms!

they are on back order right now because its tax time. everyone is going out and upgrading to longarm while they have the money. rc makes a good product for an even better price. definitely worth the wait

I'm acually impressed with the RC 6.5 I'm gonna be running 36's with it for now even though it's prolly a bad idea because I'll lose the flex part But I think the ideal tire size would be 33's if you want the most from it. I waited about 3 weeks for it even though I ordered over a telephone. I think it just took long because the NE was getting buried in snow during shipping. There's my 2 cents..

I did order direct from them! They had the same price as everyone else so I thought I'd be smart and order from RC direct. Now I am wondering how smart that was as I have seen and heard from people that ordered from outside companies already getting theirs! Live and learn I guess....

3 weeks on back order but mine finally came in yesterday!!! Can't wait to get it installed. They do NOT send out any type of notification about shipping or back orders. That part sucks.
But, it did come!

I love mine. I added 2" to it so I got a 8.5" now. It was a job to put on though. Took me and a buddy 14 hrs. Just had Jack stands though & I believe that everything that could go wrong did. The hardest part of the whole install was cutting the old lower control arm mounts off and drilling the frame holes. Make sure you get the SYE with it. That was a pain too, mainly bc I'd never been on a t-case before. Use everything in the SYE kit. I didn't put the new plastic gears on the speedometer and it ate all the teeth off the old one.it's definitely worth the money if you're willing to do it yourself. Only defects I found are the 90° zerk fittings on the control arms, the self tapping bolts they send for the t-case mount on the frame stripped out so make sure you drill the hole a lil bit smaller, and the new tranny and t-case skidplates had to be trimmed to clear my front driveshaft.
