just disconnect the lower control arms where it meets the Cross member,, and i dont think you should have any problem.\

You can probably get away without disconnect it

I would put the rear on jack stands and a jack under the frame for support JMO. We did this when I changed my LCA's and it worked out perfect...Tj

Where did you buy the lift? And how much? If you don't mind me asking.

I would support the body on jack stands before removing the control arm bolts.

I bought the lift at Morris 4x4 Center with Advance Adapters SYE & a Tom Woods rear CV driveshaft for just under $1700 shipped to my door. Kit included drop pitman arm & rear leaf springs cause its a long arm kit. I thought to adjust LCA's you unhook them off jeep rock it back & forth & where they stop is how they want to sit.

It sits too high up in the air for my jack stands to reach anything other than the differentials.

put a block of wood on the end of the jack stand, or set the jack stand on a block of wood

I would support it some how. Tractor supply has high jack stands that are tall enough to support my body with a 6.5" lift they are a life saver and like $25 a piece

Tall jack stands are a must, and totally worth their price, as you'll need them with a lifted Jeep. You wouldn't put car tires on a Jeep, so you can't put car jack stands under them either. Gotta have the tall ones. I would support the Jeep before unbolting the control arms, can the tracbar really be trusted to keep the Jeep located in the correct position over the springs while you lie underneath of it?
