Rough Country 4.5" AAL Upgrade Questions
I have a 99 XJ that I purchased a 4.5 Rough Country AAL kit for. I am going to be doing some major fender trimming so that won't be an issue.
I am looking to put on some 34x11.50 tires, but I would also like to still retain some flex for wheeling. I would like to order some coil spacers and small blocks for the extra lift, but I need to know what sizes to order.
Options Front:
-1" coil spacers
-1.5" coil spacers
-1.75" coil spacers
-2" Coil spacers
Options Rear:
-1" blocks
-1.5" blocks
-2" Blocks
The reason I ask the question is because looking at pictures I am not sure how it will sit with the lift on. I want this thing to be level when finished and not nose or tail heavy. Please post any pictures you have or your insight.
Another question would be if the SLY Eliminator and longer driveshaft would be completely necessary with this lift? This jeep will be a grocery getter/ off road toy. Thanks Everyone!

SYE: you'll probably need one if you don't already
Lift: dont use blocks, shackles are better. The best solution in the long run is full packs because they arent going to sag like AAL will.
My opinion save up your money and keep what you have for now, and later on get a full pack and coil springs.

you are doing something similar to what i want to achieve. since you ave 4.5" coils do a 3/4" spring isolator, and just trim in the rear assuming you bought the RC lift use the bottom hole on the shackle and extend the bump stops.

I've seen 37's on a 1.5" lift on here before and it looked mean as hell. Anything over 33's though and I would seriously think about switching the stock axles out for beefier ones.
