Ya I have their 4.5 in on my 98 xj. I love it however I went with their AAL setup and it sagged within 2 months. I fixxed that problem with blocks I had sitting around. All in all its a great kit in my oppinion. Just make sure u get the full leaf pack. I see if I can get some pics up 4 u today:thumbsup:

Its a good setup. Make sure you get the shock upgrade to 9000. My opinion is to save your money on buying the full leaf packs and build you some S-10 packs in the the rear instead when the AAL starts sagging. Also don't forget to buy it from the vender on jeepforum so you get a 10% discount.

Very good product for the price and great guys to deal with. The only thing I have ever had to replace was the shocks. Also If you can afford it get the full leaf packs if not save and get them you will wish you had!

Also if you do a little searching on the site you will find tons of folks commenting on how they like their lifts.

I have Rough Country X-Flex control arms. I LOVE THEM!!!!! Go to (1987XJ) profile page to see some pics of my son's XJ on a Rough Country 6.5 inch lift kit with 33s. I think it looks badass!......and it works well on and off road.

We have 3 XJ's and have installed 5 lifts total. 2 of them was only because we went up in height. Loved all 5 of them! Rough Country has one of if not the best customer service depts around. I've never had a problem with them in that dept.
I do agree to get the Nitro shocks as well as a previous member stated. Get the lift with the normal arms not the flex arms. Another member is having tons of problems with them. He's going on his 6th set. At 4.5 start looking in to adjustable track bars and steering braces for handling larger tires. There's a whole list of things you'll need for that height, not just the lift. Here's a shot of mine at 4.5 with 32's next to my buddies jeep I was working on. His is all stock. http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p...506_093651.jpg |
Here is one of mine. This is 4.5 RC lift with full leaf in the back. 32" tires with no flares. I have since trimmed the fenders and put trim over the rear holes.

i happen to have a set of 32's on my front porch and after tons of reading and putting it off im stuck on this fact, 4.5 requires more than a 3" with trimming correct? i've been told that a 4.5" will need a SYE and a whole bunch of extra/upgraded parts and drops while a 3" just needs fender trimming to fit my 32's? dont intend to highjack your thread just curious
