Roof Rack Side Rail Mounting Nuts
So, I noticed the other day that the little rubber nuts that go in the roof to attach the side rails, pulled out of the roof. So now I need to get some new ones. What did ya'll use?
Would these be good?

On your 87 they are rubber well nuts. They drop in from the top, then you run a screw through it, and the threads inside cause the rubber to mushroom up under the roof
You can buy them in bulk from McMaster-Carr and Grainger but they only sell SAE threads and not metric. If you want metric you'll need to visit the dealer and see if they can get some for you.
