Roof Rack for Cherokee XJ
Hi all, this website and forum is a lifesaver and thanks to all who have helped!! I have a question regarding roof racks. I want to purchase a rack form the States but it has to be of a type that can be shipped in parts (not in one piece). Do you have any reccomendations on quality made racks of this sort? I am not looking for a rack that covers the intire roof of the Jeep but perhaps half of it or a little more.
Best wishes,
Jake

Nice Jeep Jake, where in Europe are you?
Take a look at the Garvin series of Wilderness racks, mine has been holding strong for better than 10 years now. They break down for shipping.

I put my vote in for the thule moab rack. Comes with 2 load bars that attach to the rack so you can add more stuff on top of that or save money if you want to use gutter mounts.

Cheap
Purchased mine from the Jeep Parts R US(Junk Yard) for 10 bones. not a serious aftermarket rack but pretty hot, better than a flat roof.
