a rodent chewed my evap canister... Can i JB weld it?

a rodent chewed my evap canister... Can i JB weld it?
Hello all... thanks in advance for answering.
As the title says, I have a rodent that chewed through the evap canister. I have found a replacement online... but if i can save 35.00, i will.
see the picture below. All i would have to do is seal up the hole with the hose and repair the hose. As for the center hole, do i just plug it as well? From what I have seen online, it appears to be rubber on top.

Oops. I though you meant the rodent. I'd JB Weld that rodent to the frame rail and do a few river crossings.
