rod cap torque specs
 
Anyone have the torque specs so i can finish my rod bearing replacement....both manuels i have dont have it

I believe its something like 21flb or something like that. not 100%

If I have it, it's on my site - check the Tech section. All specs I put up there are from FSMs.

If your workin on that 4.0 HO, your Main Bearing Cap Bolts ar 80 ft lb.
Your Connecting Rod Cap Nuts are 33 ft lb

I was just looking for the rod cap spec myself, so it is 33 ft lbs. Also I would suggest to step them down in several steps. I overkill some stuff though.
