not directly as they are 5x5 while xj's are 5x4.5. you would have to run the spacers that convert the bolt pattern.

muddyhillbilly Nov 2, 2009 07:45 PM

i think all bronco II's and stock rangers at least the 80's and early 90's r 14's and 15's

xj17901 Nov 2, 2009 07:48 PM

just if you would see something in the junkyard that you like bronco II has the same lug pattern.... thats all i was trying to get across

muddyhillbilly Nov 2, 2009 08:23 PM

ya almost all ford cars and mid size trucks was 5x4.5 but the only thing that i've found was the crown vic that was a 16 i was told to try a dakota but haven't tried yet

xj17901 Nov 3, 2009 08:11 AM

I know older dakotas are 6 lug maybe durango?

xjod Nov 3, 2009 09:08 AM

Jeep uses a lug centric design- the lug nuts center the wheel on the hub
Ford uses a hub centric design on their alloy wheels-the center of the wheel is machined so that it centers the wheel. Hope this helps a little.

All that being said, some of which I understand, some I do not, can I take the wheels and tires off my sons 1993 Ford Explorer 235/75/15's and simply bolt them on to my 90 Cherokee which currently has the same tire size?

In 2007 they changed to the 5 on 5 bolt pattern. You could use the moab wheels from a 2005 or 2006 as they were a 5 on 4.5
