Hey guys i was looking on craigslist and found some rims that i really liked but was wondering if it'll fit my 1991 Jeep xj? The rims are 5 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern, will it fit? Cause i was told that xj's are 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern?..

no, they will not fit. xj"s are 5 on 4.5. i think you can buy wheel spacers that change the lug pattern, but ive never been a big fan of spacers.

 

would spacers effect the way of driving? and are spacers expensive?

 

the problem with the spacers is that they are aluminum. And since I've been told that steel will cause corrosion on the alum. they will eventually loosen up. Which doesn't seem to be a problem if you check on them every so often, however, how often do you plan to pull your wheels off to check the nuts holding the spacers on?
