Right rear of XJ sags
Ok so i got this jeep a few months ago and just put new Monroe shocks because that's what i thought was wrong with it. But the rear passenger side still sags. Is this a common problem? What could be wrong with it? any info would be helpful. Thanks!

Ok, thanks guys, i'll see what i can do about that. May have to drive it like that for a while. for now it's just fixing that stupid window. The little mount thing just spins and i dont know how to stop it since i can't really just hold on to it.

mine does the same thing. I found that when i cut my exhaust tip off (to clear drop shackles) it was pointed right at my right rear spring bushing and it toasted it. I have since fixed the exhaust problem but still need to change out the bushing. I'm planning on swapping my rear springs (switch sides) and wheel it like that for a while. I think the torque really does put alot of extra stress on that one leaf pack. Maybe then mine will sit level again.

THis is reaching and prolly isnt your problem. but, You could check to see if your rear shackle is loose and tilted back you would lose a slight bit of lift if it did. The shackle is where the rear of the leaf spring attaches to the leaf spring. There is a 21mm nut and bolt that bolt the leaf spring to the shackle. Then the shackle connects to the unibody via another 21mm bolt and nut. If the later has loosened any it could have shifted the shackle causeing you to lose a lil lift. Just an Idea they should be straight up and down. Atleast mine always are.
