but where is your PS pump, and where are you going to locate it?
presumably you have LHD ?
Do you wish to retain A/C ? etc etc
every thing will probably be different

On LHD, the stock alternator location is low, leaving the alt notoriously susceptible to water damage. Also, I never use the AC, so I want to take out one more set of components that could fail. Really isn’t that much trouble, especially if I can find OEM parts to bolt in.

Never use the AC! It was one of the first things I got working again after getting it back on the road.

If your PS pump is on the LH side as you imply, imo you will be able to do what you want
several guys on the Aussie Jeep forum have run custom setups.
just need to select the right belt length at the end, the pulleys and bearings from some local Ford models can be used as well.
If I was you, I would consider joining Aussie Jeep formu, even though the XJ section isnt very active, good info, and parts can be had

I will post up a couple of Jeep wreckers details..but be aware, they expect you to know what you want, and dont usually have much patience or manners (same as Wreckers everywhere probably)...and will pump you on price, if they can

I joined ausjeepoffroad yesterday and posted a want ad. Should have time to browse the site for info this weekend.
Any additional info you or anyone else can provide is much appreciated.
Cheers!

those parts match what is in my 3 x '96
here is a '96 belt diagram
the adjusting bolt you pictured from uk ebay is bolted to a cast bracket that mounts to the block. You would also want the 2 adjacent idler pulleys
'94-95 apparently have a spring loaded tensioner, not the manual via bolt method of the '96. (alt is still high mount)
'97 and later, I dont know

I've attached a better parts diagram below. Is the cast bracket you refer to #14 in the diagram?

99% sure, its hard to see down in the engine bay, i took a pic
its late here atm, I will check 2morrow
I believe the RHD Grand Cherokee (ZJ) also had a similar setup but 136 rather than 90amp alt, fits right in apparently

I need that bracket for my 95 rhd, I got backed into by a simi truck and it broke. That 53010050 bracket and the one below it. I can't find anywhere that sells them in the US

Aircon is vital in the UK! If you don't have dried air in the car overnight, the windscreen gets covered in ice on the inside

I know when we had issues with moisture in my Mrs vehicle A/C system, the advice was to turn the heater on for couple of mins after use the A/C
(never had a frozen windscreen, so what would I know )
@ the OPs..you will have to do what we have to..import Jeep parts from OS
or fabricate the brackets..would not be impossible if you can weld and use an angle grinder
