Revolver shackles worth it or not?
I'm thinking about buying revolver shackles for the Cherokee but are they worth it? Do they really increase articulation and ride that well? Also I have lift shackles in the rear and as far as I can tell by reading the revolvers don't add lift they basically are the same height as the stock. I'm trying to get more flex out of my Cherokee,I was gonna do rear 4 link but it looks to complicated. If anyone knows more about these shackles let me know.
Right, they do not add any lift, they do increase articulation a decent amount. That i know from having them. From what ive hears they can unload and open up in asteep down hill decent causing the rear to lift when you dont want it.
DON'T RUN THEM.
They suck and will unload on the street and on the trail. On a friends truck before we took them off they only gained an inch of down travel. We spent some time building a new leaf pack and gained 3 inches of down travel.
Do a shackle relocation bracket to get your angle better and build a nice flexy leaf pack
