well, i paid 245 bux for mine about 3 years ago.

they're still in the original box tucked away in a drawer in the shop.

i don't think i'm gonna use em. too many negative points and hazardous risks.

plus, you must have an sye and limiting strap.

My buddy made a set for his FJ40 I would love a set on my CJ. I think they would be of good use on a trail only rig.

Not in my opinion. Had lots of issues with them unloading ccuasing axle wrap. Money would be better invested in different spring or 4 link system.

They are of no advantage on the trail IMHO. All they do is allow your "unloaded" wheel to drop farther, which gains you nothing. HTH!!

we have an older variation of them on the rear of our cj. they were on there when we bought it and i dont see them coming off. i never noticed any horrible unloading like said and its hard to say if they make it more unstable because we have never ran it w/o them. its got like 10 inches of lift and 37's on stock width axles so its very unstable as is

a friend of mine runs a set on his nissan frontier and he likes them, because of the way the leafs are on his truck he gained about another 3inched of flex with them. though that being said the slight benfits do not out way the risks the give lots of body roll
