Default 01' Classic 137,500 Miles in New England Has Leak in Windshield

I took my 01' Classic through the car wash today to get some of the salt and crud off of the undercarriage, as well as to make the vehicle look nicer. While going through the car wash I noticed that I had some leaking on the upper passenger side of the windshield. I currently have the headliner pulled because I'm replacing that soon. So it's bare metal up on the roof at the moment. I was wondering if there is any way to seal up that part of the windshield by using some kind of epoxy. Has anyone ever done this and had it work successfully? I plan on giving the Jeep to my son for his 16th birthday, and I want it to last a while and be nice for him. What material would you suggest to use for the job, and how should I go about it? Thanks for your help!

I had a leak right about there in my '00.
Coming out towards the center just left of the passenger side visor.
At the time I was having some hood and roof rust issues taken care of by my body guy.
I asked him to deal with the windshield too.
He had his glass guy, who is now my glass guy (LOL), deal with it.
Main reason was if there was some rust issues going on under there he could deal with it.
Turned out a removal and replace with new windshield molding fixed it all up so.....

I agree with Ralph that removing the screen, repairing any rust, and replacing the moulding is the only sensible way to proceed

even the slightest corrosion in that area turns into a nightmare repair if left for a few years

I removed the screen myself with leather gloves and thick electric guitar strings, sawing it out carefully so it didnt get broken, attended the small amount of rust properly (takes a couple of days if you use 2 pac paints), then had a mobile windshield guy re-install my old screen and a NOS moulding I bought off Ebay.

The moulding can be hard to obtain (cost me $60), and the windscreen guy cost $100
