Reverse light adjustment
I need little help my reverse light aren't going on when I put it in reverse. Any pointers on how to adjust them?

Remove, clean & reinstall the neutral safety switch.

^^^^^ follow every direction in the link! I just cleaned mine and it works great! Use the dielectric grease on the connection in the engine bay.

The problem is not the connector in the engine bay, its the one down on the shaft.
But to answer your original question, (since if you decide to clean your NSS, you will need to put it back and do the following anyway): yes you can adjust the NSS, in fact you will likely need to, since it's position will also determine if you can start in Park and Neutral. There is a adjustment screw that you can loosen, turn the NSS on the shaft till in the correct position and tighten again. Correct position: it will start in Park and Neutral, and reverse lights come on. |
