request for photos - 1996 (if possible) windshield removed - photos of windshield "frame" and if possible gasket on windshield close up

Having trouble with a leak - found the leak but can not figure out if leak is from the frame or gasket.

Will this help? This is not mine. Found it here in a posting but can't remember which one. We were talking about what it might look like under the windshield in this thread so I posted the picture I had found. Is a 2 door but definitely '96 down.

If that windshield is original, the paint in the pinchweld is probably coming off. Also, the rubber gasket around the windshield doesn't make a water tight seal - the watertight seal is made by the urethane bonding bead that glues the windshield to the frame - that's where the issue is probably. This job is definitely a royal PITA, so consider taking it to a professional if you can. Good luck.
