Replacing NP231 Transfer Case Chain
Hey all,
The chain in my transfer case seems to have stretched a bit, and is skipping. Is it possible to replace the chain just by disconnecting the rear driveshaft and removing the backplate, or is it necessary to drop the entire case?
Thanks

Ok, thanks guys!
I'm willing to squeeze under there for a bit if I don't have to drop the TC - figure that there's less stuff to mess up that way.
