Replacement Glass for Jeep Cherokee Sport 1998
Hey fellas. I did a search on the forums but couldn't find anything. Someone decided they needed my rear cargo window on my 98 Cherokee Sport. Has anyone found a website or similar where I can purchase a replacement? I have called around and all the pick and pulls have nothing to offer. Any info would be great!

There's more out there than Pick-n-Pull. Check the yellow pages? They might be the same from 84 to 2001...(besides the de-frogger). I'm just pretty, but not absolutely sure. My 84 and my 90 are the same except the 90 has the defroster.

Check a local glass shop. It's not always that expensive to have one installed.

When some punks decided to smash mine with a rock, it cost about $300 to replace from a local glass shop. No tint and had defrost. Couple of years ago.

When I was looking for a rear tinted glass, i looked and looked and bought one off ebay only to have it arrive shattered. (I got a refund) Disappointed, I called my local glass shop and he was able to get one the same day for less than what I paid on ebay. It was about $100 for the tinted one. (labor to install is probably more, I installed it myself since I was painting the car) This was for my 87. So if the 87 glass was that readily available, I'd guess your chances for the 98 would be just as good. Now this is an aftermarket glass, but it fit just fine and looks great. I'm quite happy. So I wouldn't hesitate to call your local automotive glass shop and see what they can get for you!

If you can't find one in a junkyard RockAuto sells auto-glass now too. Looks like a rear-window for a 98 XJ runs $106-$136 depending on if it has tint and/or defrost.

That dog there <<< knocked mine out. Miraculously it didn't break falling on gravel. IIRC I just used a butter knife and dish soap to put it back.
