Default Replaced headliner, now no radio

Hey everyone!
I have been reading all the great information here and you guys have helped me immensely!
But I have a new problem that I cant find a thread to resolve it. Today i replaced the headliner in my 96 XJ and recovered the speaker pod, put it all back together but now the radio has no power. I did not even touch the radio, but i did see someone say that changing the speakers might cause this issue. I have everything working, just not the radio. Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

I'd start by checking fuses.

I checked the fuse marked as radio in the manual, but ran out of light. Will check them all in the morning.

After checking all fuses, cant find any bad ones. physically pulled them and checked them too. Then started checking the incoming wire harness to the radio, have 12 volts on the wire for ignition switch, but nothing on the constant 12 volt wire

Ok, problem solved!
Turns out it was a 10 amp fuse in the drivers side kick panel fuse box. Odd part was it tested good the first time i checked it last night. Found it, put a new one in and sound came out!
Thanks to all of you that tried to assist me with this. On a side note, new battery cables are going to be installed ASAP, during the process of tracking this down, i moved the positive cable a little and lost a good connection,
later when i went to start it, it would not start unless i pumped it, and even then it would not idle unless i was giving it gas. The PCM does not like a low voltage connection, so new terminals and cables are next.
