Engine: 4.0L high output with compressed valves
replaced front brake pads and rotor and now have spongy brakes
i bled thefront two and the pedal isn't tightening up. we didnt bleed the rear calipers or whatever but is it because i didnt bleed the rear.

Allways bleed from the furthest wheel from the master cylinder to the closest.If that don't work then check for a leak in the lines.

If you didn't open the system up to air, you should not have to bleed them. Make sure you have the pads in correctly, and if the rotors are not tight against the hub, you'll get a funky pedal too.
