i am sorry if this is in the wrong section but i am trying to wire up a 97 gc ohc
(i know the temp guage wont work)
but i just cant seem to find out what some wires do
so here goes

i had this in between my visors


i know that its for a wireless key fob
(dont have it)

when i pulled it off i found this harness


which goes to a connector on the passenger side under the kick panel
as seen here


now i looked for a long time for any answers for this and i was wondering if any one knew what each wire is for

the wires colors are:
pink
orange/pink stripe
pink orange stripe
pink/purple stripe
blue/orange stripe
yellow
black (im thinking ground)
white/black stripe
green /orange stripe

any and all help will appreciated

Pink and purple and pink and orange are temp sensor wires. I think black is ground and the blue/ orange should be your 12+ wire I think. Use google and search " Cherokee over head console wire diagram" that's how I got my answers for when I did mine.
