I drive a 93 XJ with a 4.0. It kept stalling on me at random times, then sometimes it would start right back up. Other times it wouldn't start again. It's stalled at high rpm's low rpm's, hot and cold. I've replaced the CPS, cleaned the throttle body, IAC. When it stalls, it starts to seem like it's bogging down, and if i step on the gas, it momentarily goes away. Then it stalls a short time after that, even if it's not at idle. It also has a little miss on one cylinder while idleing. I've checked all of the spark plugs gaps and replaced the plug wires. I tested fuel pressure, and it was alittle low, so i'm getting a fuel pump. any other ideas or suggestions?

Cam position or crank position?

 

Get the fuel pressure sorted out first. Pay close attention to the hose that is between the pump and the fuel pump module. It can be cracked or split. Replace it while you're in there.
