Default RENIX anyone wanna help me with a climbing high idle

Ok so I let my 1990 Cherokee sit for a couple months and then replaced the fuel pump in it and then started it up and it has this crazy high idle it climbs higher and higher, and if I drive it, it will Damn near push me through a stop light I have to stand on the brake just to keep it stopped. I tried adjusting the TPS but it doesn't seem like it's right I have it tilted all the way out and it still didn't reach my desired voltage of .82 it's at .80 and I can not adjust it any farther.

Any suggestions are deeply appreciated

Google "Cruiser54s renix tips cherokeeforum" go through the tips, 1-5 and iirc 23. Do the c101 elimination as its troublesome. Freshen up your grounds. Check your throttle body and make sure is clean, no carbon buildup

Mine did this after my last oil change. I tracked it down to the vacuum hose that runs to the EGR. It had got bumped out of its socket in the harness but almost looked attached. I plugged it in and it settled right down. Worth checking all vacuum lines very closely, just takes a minute.
