Removing lock cylinder from the hatch
Hey guys, so I lost my keys. Unfortunately with the 90 cherokee it's not just a simple fix. I've been instructed to remove the lock cylinder from the hatch and take it to a locksmith. I cant seem to find any instructions on how to do this, hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Go to http://cruiser54.com/?page_id=365 and get the FSM for your 90 XJ. It should have information for the lock cylinder.

It's held in with a "U" shaped spring clip. The end of the clip is bent up like the underline in that U < . That's where you pry to pull the clip from the slot in the cylinder. Hope that works! (sometimes ign locks are more sophisticated than "others"
