Default removing that friggin glue

hey whats the best way you guys found to remove that old glue holding the headliner in. the best way i found was with a shop vac but does anybody have a better idea or an easier way?

If I am understanding you correctly, your saying the glue that's on the metal? If so take a heat gun, warm it up, and then putty knife it off. I melted three putty knifes by trying to scrape it off while the heat gun was on, wasn't thinking. But good thing they're $0.50.

3m adhesive remover Citrus base. Stuff is amazing. I used it to remove fabric from sunvisors console on celing and sound bar. I pulled the old fabric off sparyed a good amount on let it soak through the foam for a few mins and it pretty much wipes right off then I rinsed it.
