Removed IAC but broke a wire

I am having stalling issues with a 95 cherokee when coming to a stop. I removed the IAC to clean it, but along the way my fat hands broke a wire trying to get to the bottom torx screw. the wire i broke looks hollow inside. Does anyone know what this is? it leads up to a box on the firewall.

Here is a picture (red circle is the broken wire)

that looks like a vac line to me. you can go farther back and cut it and put a rubber line between the 2 to make it longer

Welcome to the forum. My suggestion: get a FSM to help with the wiring diagrams, and get an assistant with thinner hands...:cool2:
