So what find of XJ magic do I need to conjure up to remove the old alternator? I have removed the two mounting bolts, the voltage regulator and the front mount plate as well. I still cannot get the damned thing out. I am thinking of taking out the actual mount from the block. Is there any other way to do this? Everything was going so well until it came to taking it out.
