relocating vaccum ball after trimming fenders

Default relocating vaccum ball after trimming fenders

I have a 1991 cherokee and i recently trimmed my fenders up and came across a vaccum ball for my heater any good places to relocate the ball

Just move it up into the engine bay somewhere. You need it fo rthe Heat/AC and other vac operated sensors to work.

Not that this is the recommended option, but I plugged mine with a bolt, tucked it up outta the way and called it good. I haven't noticed even the slightest bit of a difference in the way it runs.

I took mine and zip tied it to the over flow bottle under the hood.

i went to the H.O, radiator setup so i put it in the spot where the Idiot bottle used to be.

i wedged mine in between ac hoses and what not. i've been airbourne it doesnt move.

i moved mine to the inner fender in the engine bay between the battery an the fuse panel an its out of the way for me

I jammed mine up against the firewall and valve cover. It's been there for a month...I figured the heat from the valve cover would have warped it by now or melted through, but it's okay. I originally put it there temporarily until I found a place for it, but never got around to it and it's fine where it is.

Default removing doors

i see all these people take there doors off does anyone brace the underneth on the jeep up or do they put stronger rockers cause when yopu flex it up it will twist your frame up.

when you take that front bumper off their is a space right below the radiator in the grill support. i think that is what it is called. it fits right in just rip tie it in their. that way you do not have on in the hot engine bay.
