So i notice on alot of jeeps that the shift indicators like p, r, n, d and the 4x4 are very faded and basically have no color anymore are often seen on 97+ jeeps including my own is there any way to recolor them? i made mine alot better as the black parts were flaked off and showing light through them and fixed using electrical tape but can you recolor them? im mainly looking at the 4x4 indicator making the line more orange, i was thinking of using a sharpie and coloring over the indicator card.

I'v used decals from models to fix the writing on the gauges on the dash before , you mite find some at a model shop .
