Mine were the same. I was jacked....but I got my grinder out and had at it. The grinder I used was a small air powered one. So fit up there nicely. Took me for ever to get them out. Guess what I did with the new shocks I put in? Welded them in! Haha. Said screw it. If you have a grinder try it out....if not borrow one or maybe rent one if u can. Or buy one of course. It was a pain but in the end was well worth getting those old shocks replaced.
