Rear liftgate finger latch broken off
 

There's a black plastic finger latch that surrounds the push button release on my liftgate. I have searched and searched and can't find it listed for sale anywhere. Anyone know where i can get one?

that what i noticed today.....mine is missing too.
1994 xj , new to me as of this last friday.

I hope you have better luck than i did. It's a discontinued part so Jeep won't have it. I couldn't find one on Ebay. I found some local junk yards that have it but i have a bad feeling it's going to be brittle and probably break as i try to remove it. I may try to fabricate my own out of aluminum.

I have ordered a few parts from these guys. Unfortunately they don't show any pictures so it is tough to be sure that it is the right part. But I can tell you this much. The 3 or so things that I have ordered from these guys have been exactly what I wanted. Not going to lie never had much faith in it working out but it has so far.
