Well what tool are you using? Hopefully you've got at least a socket wrench. If so try finding away to extend the handle in order to gain more leverage. |
Breaker Bar and PB Blaster

hi , literally just finished swapping my leafs, i used a 2 1/2' torque wrench, it was tough but they came out, on one of them though the bolt had welded itself to the metal sleave in one of the bushes, i got my grinder out and cut the bolt head off. another note i also have cut little access holes in my lower sill joins to get line of sight to the front bolts.

well i got my leafs off but i broke a bolt in the frame. Now what do i do????
Drill it out and retap the hole if you can if not helicoil may be needed....
i dont trust helicoils on suspension parts..just me though
i haven't done my leafs yet but when i finally get a chance to get my new ubolts i will. and if i crack the nut off the frame i will just weld a new one on.
Yea the bolt broke the welded nut off inside the frame so there is no place to thread the bolt. what can i do?? Any ideas or advice
