rear gear oil
Hello Everyone,
This weekend I want to change the rear gear oil in my 93. Do I need gear oil with or without additive? I thought I read somewhere that if I used the royal purple (with additive) that I would be fine. I'm guessing using the additive(pre mixed in royal purple) can't hurt.

If you have the factory limited slip, you have to add the additive. However, I believe if you use synthetic, I've heard you don't need to put in the additive. If you don't have the trakloc factory limited slip, you don't need any additive.
