Default rear driveshaft

Well my 91 is now lifted about 3.5" and i saw my driveshaft pulled out of the t case a litte I know thats normal because its lifted but my question is. I have 2 driveshafts on it i wanna say 31" and the other is 31.75" u joint to u joint. I put the longer one in. Im planning on doing a t case drop but will I need to put the shorter one in or will the longer one be ok. The shorter one is out of my 4 door and the longer one is out of a 2 door. What do you guys think?

So if I went back to the shorter one and did a t case drop would it be right where it was give or take a little. Where it sits now it is right where it was before the lift with the longer on in. I just dont wanna put alot of stress on my tail shaft

X 2 and you can always carry the longer one for a spare.

the angle is what puts the most stress on the tail shaft. yes i will have a little more stress but a little stress is better than going to flex/landing hard and pushing your rear drive shaft through you t-case

So the shorter one with a t case drop would in theory put it right back where it should be? Or am I just thinking about it wrong

You can run it.
The 2dr shaft is actually a hair under 11/16" longer.
With a 1" TC drop, the slip yoke will run in the same location on a 4dr as it did on the 2dr.

How do I know this?

What do you think I am running....
