Rear bumper mount???
I'm in the process of building bumpers for my XJ. I'm looking for a print or a PDF for mounting the rear bumper. I know that I can use the eight bolts that hold the stocker on, but I wanted to tie into the holes that a reciever hitch would mount to as well. If anyone knows of one, please shoot it my way. I can do it myself, but I'm getting a little lazy these days!! LOL!! Thanks guys!!

I appreciate that, but I'm wanting to tie into the portion of the frame that a receiver hitch would mount to as well. I just think that the eight bolts that are traditionally used are a little on the weak side. I'd hate to be trying to pull someone out, and rip the bumper off the back. Thanks for the help anyways though buddy!! I think I'm gonna have to come up with something on my own, which is fine!! I was just checking to see if any info was out there!! Laters!!

The above diagram could be incorporated into some square tubing frenched into the unirail behind the original 8 bolts on rear crossmember would be a solid mount.

Perfect!!! Thanks much Stryker, that is exactly what I was looking for!! Now I can tie those mounting holes into the originals, and the Jeep will be ripped in half before it gives!!! I'll post up what I come up with in order to help other people's future plans, thanks again!!
