Rear bumper end caps stink! Help.

Rear bumper end caps stink! Help.
What is the name of the top bolt on the end caps? Can you order them? Are they necessary? I cant believe they fused metal and plastic together! Dumb design. If I order new caps Im still stuck without those darn bolts. any thoughts will help. Ive looked hi and low for them online. Dealer part? Part number?

I would, but.........
I tried to replace the ones on my good XJ from my parts XJ, and out of 4 tries and a can of PB I ended up with one good one. They just slip inside the end cap. I had to grind one off my good XJ.

Errr.
I checked out what that entails. PITA. I have a stock hitch that needs to get out of the way just to wrestle with those top bolts. Did you take just the bumper off, or brackets too? And what did you use? Thanx.

I found the part number!
They didnt give me th name of the part,. The number is..6502-693. $6.85ea. Or $8.00 for two @ Team Cherokee. All 4 end caps are $35 there too! Yippie!
