Rear Break drum discrepency

So I went to autozone to look for rear break drums. I have a 8.25 rear, but the only thing their computer listed was:
Dana 35 \ splicer
Dana 44 \ splicer

Any idea what this means, or why they wouldn't have the 8.25 listed? Also, my existing drums may be ok, but they are super rust, as in I can see checks of rust 1/4" thick falling off. Should they just be replaced?

The reason I'm doing this is because my E-Brake gradually stopped working, and now is completely ineffective.

Is this 8.25 stock or was it swapped in? If so you need to know what year model it came out of but I would assume all year models with the 8.25 should be the same.

I went through this last fall, and to be honest, I completely forget. They are different sizes, the dana 44 is ~10 inches, the 35 is ~9 inches. Just measure your drum, then measure the ones at the store just to be sure. I'm almost sure its the same as the 35's.. but double check just to be sure.

According to the Factory Parts Manual the D35 and 8.25 used the same drum assembly which is a 9" drum and should measure 9"x2 1/2".
