Rear axle
Ok I'm confused. I totally thought I had a Chrys 8.25 rear in my 01 XJ but after getting under there tonight to drain the diff fluid/ inspect gears and refill I am not so sure I have the 8.25. My problem came when I was removing the bolts and I found this tag on one of the bolts??

Here is a more visible pic of the bottom of the housing. I was under the impression that the 8.25 had the flat bottom. If this is the 8.25 then why is there a tag with the #35 on it???

Thanks guys. I found a link somewhere on here that you can get the build sheet for your vehicle from jeep. I sent them my info last night and they sent me my build sheet today. I do in fact have the 8.25 with 3.55 gears.
