Read Spring Hanger on Jeep Cherokee Sport
Wanting to remove my leaf springs in rear for upcoming lift kit... However, the front Hanger Mount I have a question.
It looks like the bolt mounts into a nut? inside the frame rail??? How do I remove? Or is the nut welded on the inside so I can just wrench out the bolt..

Yes its welded to the frame. Start spraying it now with pb blaster and I suggest using some heat before you start wrenching on it. If the weld breaks loose, its not the end of the world, just a lot more work you'll have to go through. Here's the video of what I went through... just keep in mind that I usually have no idea what I'm doing and my rig is a lifelong winter salt eater from northern Michigan... the rust certainly doesn't help issues.
