Default New Clutch - Knock or Rattle at Idle

I just got the clutch replaced on my XJ and noticed a couple things immediately.. There's a knocking or rattle at Idle clutch engaged, tans in neutral... It will go a way if I depress the clutch pedal slightly but not fully.. What could this be?

Also I've noticed that with the new clutch it shutters when trying to take of from a stop in reverse or 1st gear.. My other clutch didn't do this.

Is there some adjustment I can do myself real quick or do I need to take it back to the shop??

Not to insult your mechanical experience, but sounds like it was installed wrong. May wanna drop the trans again and check it.

Did you replace the throw out bearing when you did the clutch? Even if so you could have gotten a bad bearing.

Yeah they were supposed to have replaced the throw out bear and do a complete clutch kit...

Before you start pulling it apart you should take it back to whoever did the work and have them check thing over. Sounds like that either they used an old throwout bearing or they didn't put it back together right. Hopefully they gave you a warranty.

Probably what they charged you for anyways. Take it back to the shop so they can fix it right, if not, lawyer up.
