Cool Rancho 3" Lift swap from dodge ram to cherokee?

Hey... A buddy of mine with a Dodge Ram just got a 4.5" Lift from a junkyard that he put on his rig today... I was wondering if I could toss his Rancho 3" lift which he will give me for free on my cherokee with perhaps Coil spacers and Lift shackles to make it a 5" total... if this wont work I guess I would have to buck up and buy the 4.5" Rough Country X-series Kit. Any info is great... sure hope this would work for me.. I really don't know?.? Thanks for the help

i would be willing the bet the dodge coils are larger diameter then the xj coils. also they are obviously built to hold more weight then the springs for an xj. my take- get the parts and try it, if it works, sweet, if it don't you have not lost no money. thats how i learn things.

ram springs are larger diameter than xj coils, spring rates are different and would ride like poop, the leaf springs are gonna be longer too
save up lunch money and buy a lift kit for your jeep or make one from stuff thats known to work i.e. f150 springs(stiff ride) and a bastard pack

Even if you could get it to work, which you can't, the front would be much higher than what you want and ride like a square rock. Just get something made for and XJ

Yeah that's why I said I got the 4.5 Rough Country for my XJ...
I took one look at the Ram coils and new it would ride like junk even if they somehow fit. I got a good deal on the RC kit anyway so it was worth it to get the kit with everything and a warranty
